The enthusiastic participation of speakers, exhibitors, partners, and attendees contributed significantly to the success of the event and reinforced the importance of collaboration in shaping the future of Thailand’s hospitality industry.

Five Discussions Shaping the Future of Hospitality

Andaman Techspace 2026 featured five key discussions covering sustainability, hospitality branding, hotel distribution, resort profitability, and Phuket’s future investment outlook.

The Future and Transformation of Sustainable Tourism in Phuket

Hospitality and tourism leaders explored how Phuket can continue to grow as a leading international destination while addressing environmental, economic, and community priorities.
The discussion highlighted the need for collaboration among hotels, tourism organisations, government agencies, local communities, and industry partners to support Phuket’s sustainable development.

From Phuket to the World

“From Phuket to the World: Building a Purpose-Driven Hospitality Brand for the Future” explored how hospitality businesses can build brands with global relevance while remaining connected to their purpose, identity, and place of origin.
The session featured Ho Kwon Ping, Founder and Executive Chairman of Banyan Group, and was moderated by Bhummikitti Ruktaengam, President of the Sustainable Tourism Development Foundation.

The Power of Global Distribution During a Crisis

The “Power of Global Distribution to Drive Volume amid Crisis” panel examined how hotels can use distribution partnerships and flexible commercial strategies to sustain demand during challenging market conditions.
The discussion emphasised the importance of maintaining a balanced channel strategy, responding quickly to changing traveller behaviour, and working closely with distribution partners.

Beyond Occupancy

“Beyond Occupancy: Unlocking Profitability and Asset Value in Resort Properties” examined the factors that contribute to the long-term success of resort assets.
The panel explored operational performance, property positioning, investment strategy, profitability, and the importance of looking beyond occupancy when measuring the overall value of a resort business.

Decoding Phuket Hospitality

The final discussion, “Decoding Phuket Hospitality: Data, Investment, and the Next Wave of Growth,” offered a forward-looking view of Phuket’s hospitality market.
Industry experts examined hotel performance data, investment trends, development opportunities, and the factors expected to shape Phuket’s next phase of growth.
